About 1st semester's Extensive Reading

I believe that "Flowers for Algernon" is the best book that I read in the first semester. It's about a person named Charlie, who is a mental deficiency. He become clever by operation. As an experiment, a mouse named Algernon have same operation. Algernon also become clever, however, his intelligence begin to decline day by day. Charlie who has a IQ 185 notices that same thing will happen to him. And then, he ponder what should he do. This book is very famous and moving. Therefore, I am about to cry when the story ends. It's most attractive point in this book. What's more, it is easy to read because the book is written like a diary.

I think that Extensive Reading is good activity for me because I can learn a lot of vocaburally. Extensive Reading makes me read faster than before, and I believe that I can understand more deeply. However, I sometime felt troublesome because it took a long time.

  1. Glad to hear you could learn a lot of new vocabulary and increase your reading speed. I hope you can find some books you really enjoy this semester so it doesn't seem so troublesome to have to read so much because you can enjoy what you're reading!
